jogathon 2009
hey humans!been awhile since i last blogged.shall do so today since..well.i feel like it i guess.
have been doing lots of work.i didn't expect myself to be so productive AFTER promos actually.
i think i have been fairly active these past few weeks. gym,running,bball and occasional soccer have been the way i past most of my days.i guess this is paying off in the fitness as i can actually FEEL my stamina going up up UP!
but downside is that when i reach home and say hello to my bed i practically fall asleep right there and then.zzzz
anyways. yesterday was the 22nd annual YJC jogathon!
got to give it to the house exco for good planning and smooth execution of event.cudos ppl!
it was a pleasant run overall since i ran with md nur!(one of my oldest friends ever)
surprisingly, i was not as tired as i EXPECTED to be.i guess the exercise has been helping.
but wth@&%#%!
i chose not to run competitive as..well.lazy budden ran with the competitive boys for the fun of it.
came in..hmm.can safely say top 50? in the COMPETITIVE category(if i was counted) quite happy about that.
HOWEVER, imagine my surprise when i overtook PHILIP(yes the skinny librarian from sg07) at almost the very END of the race!
me and md nur were like 'sial la budak ni laju kepe.(sial la this guy damn fast sia)'
turns out, HE WASNT FAST.he took a bloody SHORTCUT!
it turns out that NON-COMPETITIVE RUNNERS (namely ME!) could take the GIRLS route (3.2km) instead of the guys route (4.8km).
so i ran an extra 1.6km FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!RAWR.
but then again.i did run for nothing since i wasn't competing in the first place. -.-
moving on~
i wanna praise my pw group for their effort and continous support in the preparation for ORAL PRESENTATION!
KEEP UP THE EFFORT GUYS!IT'S ALMOST OVER!!!
my group has been very effective for the past few days and i'm very happy with their performance la!we're the only group in sg07 with completed scripts,slides and have begun regular rehearsals.
lets not slack for a few more days then we can really cut loose yeah.
