a case of extremes.

what is good or evil?
right or wrong?
peace against anarchy.

in an ideal world, there would only be the good, the right and peace for all.
but in a world where there is no evil, wrong things or anarchy
how do you know what is good and what isn't?

how can you differentiate one without the other?

quite simply, how do you know white exists if you've never seen black?
its like asking a blind man the difference between the colour blue and green.
to him, there IS no difference because such extremes do not exist for him.

so in the humans search to create the 'perfect' world, we try to stamp out all the bad.
how can we know that we are 'intelligent' if there are no people who live in ignorance?

in short, can we really achieve the status of 'perfect' anything? how do we know we are perfect if imperfection does not exist any longer?

so maybe, just maybe, we are living in a world that is as perfect as it can possibly be.
we know kindness when we see it because we know that there is cruelty in this world.
we can see joy in others because we have experienced despair.
we can feel love because we know how it feels to be void of it.

how can the world be any more 'perfect'?
think about it.

now if only i could translate whats in my head into that freaking essay.damn it.
